Mums & Bubs Yoga

Mums & Bubs Yoga is a nurturing space where you can focus on gentle, restorative movements designed specifically for the postnatal period. These classes help you regain strength, tone, and flexibility in a safe and loving way, while honouring the changes your body has gone through.

In each session, we offer a combination of yoga postures that support your recovery, strengthen your core and pelvic floor, and relieve tension, all while prioritising your well-being. It's also a wonderful opportunity to introduce your baby to yoga, songs and movement, promoting early bonding and creating a special connection between you and your little one.

A core value at The Mumma Hub is fostering community, and our Mums & Bubs classes are a perfect chance to meet and connect with other new mums, share experiences, and build lasting friendships as you navigate this incredible journey together.

Suitable for all levels, starting after your 6-8 week Drs or Women’s Health Physio practitioner check up. No previous yoga experience is required, and you'll always be welcomed into a supportive, caring environment designed to help you connect with both your body and your beautiful baby.

And as a valued new Mumma you also have access to our new Mumma Hub Collective Membership! This exclusive membership is to add on with your yoga to offer more connection in the community, discounts, more activities, both in person and online.

Classes are held in Kingston on a Tuesday and Dickson on a Thursday and are held in the ACT school terms.

Welcome to The Mumma Hub Collective
A supportive space where mums connect, move, and thrive through every stage of motherhood.

Mums & Bubs Yoga FAQ’s: 

  • We recommend taking the first 40 days after birth to focus on bonding with your baby, establish feeding routines, and allow your body to recover with plenty of rest and nourishment. Once you’ve had your doctor’s check-up—usually around 6 weeks for a vaginal birth or 8 weeks for a cesarean—this is an ideal time to join us for Mums & Bubs Yoga.

  • Not at all! Mums and Bubs Yoga is suitable for all levels, whether you’re a complete beginner or have prior experience with yoga. The focus is on gentle movement, regaining strength, relaxation (we love looking after you in savasana) making it accessible to everyone.

  • Please bring a blanket for your bub to lay on and any toys. I will set up a mat, bolster, blocks and colourful scarf for bub. I also have a baby swing if your bub would like to try it. Please note: Nappies can be changed in the room but please take your dirty nappies.

  • Mums and Bubs Yoga is specifically designed to support the postnatal body. The focus is on gentle movements that help restore strength and flexibility, while integrating your baby into the experience with songs and movement. There’s also a strong emphasis on creating a welcoming environment where you can connect with other mums who are going through similar experiences. Themes are discussed each week to connect

  • Don’t worry Mumma, it’s totally normal for babies to need attention or a feed during class. The sessions are flexible and your teacher will ensure that you have the time to care for your baby as needed. Plus, you’ll be surrounded by other Mummas who completely understand the challenges and joys of parenting.

  • If you can’t make it to your scheduled class, I unfortunately don’t offer make-up sessions. However, if there’s space in another class during the week, I’d be happy to fit you in, subject to availability. Please feel free to reach out, and I’ll do my best to accommodate you.

  • Unfortunately not, our Mums and Bubs classes are designed for Mums and their babies that aren’t crawling. This is a reason why I have created The Mumma Hub Collective, a membership space for Mums to join even after their bub is moving for walks, picnics, education session, aqua HIIT mums & bubs and so much more.
