Bec Rogers - Calm Birth
Bec is a midwife, wife and mother.
Bec has been a midwife for 13 years, practicing her entire career where she trained at Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. She started out early into her midwifery career practicing as a group practice midwife (MGP) shortly after graduating. It was during these years she witnessed the incredible difference Calmbirth can have on a woman’s birth experience and journey into motherhood. She used to recommend to all the women and partners she cared for that they have babymoon to Bowral and attend a Calmbirth course. Most attended, and as a result the difference was seen in so many women’s birth experience’s through the confidence they had in their body, and ability to trust in the process of birth surrendering to the empowering incredible journey that birth and motherhood truly is.
Five years ago she made the tree change to the Southern Highlands and she hasn’t looked back. This change has opened up career opportunities including becoming a Calmbirth Educator and working alongside Karen in Mittagong. 2024 has her spreading her knowledge further and educating couples in Canberra.
Bec’s Canberra classes will commence April 2024 and she is so excited to work alongside like minded practitioners supporting women through all the stages of pregnancy, labour, birth, and motherhood.
